On Thursday, October 26, our 7th-grade students were able to get an up-close view of the 80-foot-tall Re/Max hot-air-balloon.
The balloon was inflated on Bryant’s football field, and a brief presentation was given to the students to explain the science behind hot-air balloons, how hot air rises, including the mechanisms that launch and navigate the aircraft. The balloon was roped into a van so the craft wouldn’t lift off.
