Battery Drive for Puerto Rico

Beginning today, Monday, October 23rd, we are having a Battery Drive for Puerto Rico.  Hurricane Maria devastated the island over a month ago and 90% of the population is still without power and will be for another 6-12 months while they rebuild.

We are collecting batteries to help people keep their flashlights and lanterns lit and even help keep medical equipment powered on.  All size batteries are welcome, however, C and D are most needed.

Any student who donates will receive an entry in a raffle for a $25 gift card of their choice.  Each battery pack donated counts as an entry.  Also, the Advisory class that donates the most battery packs will receive doughnuts!

There is a basket in every Advisory class to collect the batteries.  Be sure to let your Advisory teacher know that you donated.
