Hello Students and Families,
The 2018-2019 Robotics Season has begun, and we need to build our team.
The team is able to hold 15 students, and students can be in 6th-8th grade. Instead of a traditional “tryout,” you would get with other teams, Robotics uses an application form which gives students a chance to explain to the coaches what skills they have that can be useful to the team.
Parents, this is a time intensive club (especially during competition season from now through December) and requires students to attend meets on Saturdays. The number of competitions we will attend has not been determined, but they all fall on weekends.
There are a lot of moving pieces, no pun intended, and parent involvement is strongly encouraged.
Students, if you are interested in applying, please submit the application below. If you were on the team last year, you would still need to fill out the application for this year’s season!
Please have the application completed by Thursday, September 27th.
