Bryant School students have been invited to participate in the citywide student 19th District Court Law Day Essay Contest. The 19th District Court and Dearborn Rotary Club will offer generous prizes for successful participants in grades 6th- 8th. Winners in each of the three grades will be awarded a Barnes and Noble gift card in the amount as follows: First Place $100, Second Place $75, Third Place $50. Also, one honorable mention recipient from each grade will receive a $20 gift card.

The 2018 contest theme topic: Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom
All essays must be the original work of the student. All essays are due to the 19th District Court by Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at the courthouse on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 7:00 p.m.
