Parent/Teacher Conferences are an excellent opportunity for parents and teachers to get together to discuss academic progress and give specific ideas on how to improve upon a child’s performance in school.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Traditionally, we have used an open house format for Parent/Teacher Conferences and will continue to do so this year. But, a number of teachers have decided to pre-schedule conferences to help make their scheduled times with parents a little more efficient. If you would like to schedule a conference with any of your child’s teachers and have not already done so, please contact your child’s teacher(s) to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to attend conferences on Tuesday, November 14th, feel free to contact your child’s teacher(s) to schedule one at a time that is convenient for both parties. If you are attending conferences this fall, please enter the school through the main doors (Door #1)
A hard copy of your child’s report card will be available for parents and can be picked up in the lobby area at tables that will be set up in front of the office. Report cards that have not been picked up will be mailed home by Friday, November 17th. If an additional copy of a student’s report card is needed, please contact the main office at (313) 827-2900 and one can be printed and made available. If you are unable to stay for conferences but would like a copy of your child’s report card, you are more than welcome to stop by the school to pick it/them up.
