Bryant Instrumental Music Families!

DHS Band Aid Booster Club (BABC) invites you to attend the

Date: Friday, August 6th
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: DHS Stadium Concession Area (or under bleachers in case of rain)

The BABC is the parent booster club that supports the entire instrumental music program at Dearborn High School – concert, marching, jazz, strings…

You are invited as prospective instrumental music families to come learn more about music at Dearborn High School. There’s a lot of friendly fun and support in addition to the musicianship your student will acquire during their years at DHS.

Historically, the DHS and Bryant music instructors have worked hard to integrate the programs with joint activities through the year. Because of this interaction, 9th graders already know DHS students, making the transition to high school easier. Plans are in motion to continue that exposure.

At the Summer Mixer you can:

  • Meet and greet other instrumental music families!
  • Receive important information for the coming year!
  • Learn more about how it all works!

Refreshments will be served AND we will hold a drawing good for several prizes. You have to be present to win, so come get info early.

And while you’re there, stay for the sneak-peak performance of the Marching Band Half-Time show, starting at 8 p.m.! This performance is the culmination of a week-long mandatory band camp. See how it all works and the exciting opportunities available for your student!

Feel free to contact any of the board members with questions. We look forward to seeing you and starting off a great year of instrumental music!

Sincerely, the DHS BABC Board:
Kirstin Karoub, BABC President (
Erica Yarza, BABC Vice President (
Kim Roberts, BABC Treasurer (
