Chromebooks that have been assigned to students during remote learning are to be used responsibly by students. Chromebooks are like any other instructional material assigned to students. If a Chromebook is damaged, students will be charged for damages and/or to replace the device.
If a Chromebook is returned due to “normal wear and tear”, there is no charge. If the Chromebook isn’t working correctly, there is no charge. If there is obvious damage, the student would be responsible (see general costs below). The student is responsible to pay for the parts and the district will pay for labor costs.
General Costs:
Charging Port $15.00
Headphone Jack $15.00
Screen $45.00
Keyboard $45.00
