We will be holding a Fall Chromebook Distribution on Tuesday, August 25th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Dearborn Schools has decided that instruction for the 2020-21 school year will begin online. The first day of the school year is Monday, August 31st. If your child needs a chromebook to use at home for remote learning, please plan to pick one up from the school Tuesday afternoon.
We will be using a drive thru format to hand out the chromebooks. To help with the flow of traffic into the distribution area, chromebooks will be handed out according to your child’s grade. A parent or guardian will need to be present in order to sign off on the transfer. If you still have a chromebook from last spring, that one will suffice. Chromebooks will be handed out according to your child’s grade. Please follow this schedule:
6th grade @ 12:00 p.m.
7th grade @ 1:00 p.m.
8th grade @ 2:00 p.m.
When approaching the building, please drive North on N. Drexel and turn right into the parking lot (stay in your vehicle). Staff will be present to assist you (door #18). We can also accommodate those who walk up to the school. A parent or guardian must be present in order to be given a chromebook.
If you have a chromebook from the spring, you should be all set. If you are not returning to Bryant but still attend another school the Dearborn Public Schools, you can continue to use the assigned chromebook (likewise if you are coming to Bryant from an elementary feeder school). If you still have a chromebook from the spring and no longer need it, please return it to the Bryant School office.
