Welcome to Bryant Middle School! Under normal circumstances, we would have visited the elementary schools that feed into Bryant and met with students to share the exciting opportunities we offer and would have asked students to complete and return 6th grade course selection sheets (prior to Spring Break). In addition, we would have presented information to parents during our 6th grade orientation program, answered questions and allowed families to tour the building (end of April).
Since schools across Michigan have been closed since the beginning of March and will not reopen this school year, we have been forced to present information to incoming 6th graders and their parents through video presentations and by posting information on the Bryant School blog.
If you are unfamiliar with Bryant, please take some time to watch the YouTube videos that have been created for students and their parents. The five videos have been embedded into this blog post:
- Part I – Introduction and Core Classes
- Part II – Extended Core Classes, Planners and Lockers
- Part III – PBIS Program, Dress Code and Cell Phone Policy
- Part IV – School Counselling
- Part V – Enrollment Information
After you have viewed the videos, please have your child complete the 6th Grade Extended Core Course Selection Survey to select their two extended core classes for the 2020-21 school year. In order to complete this form, your child must use their District email account.
You will also find a packet of registration information that you may download and peruse. This information has been edited, but please note that it was used last year and may not be totally up to date. In addition, there may be many changes to school as we know it moving into the fall.
If you have any questions, please contact an administrator or the school counselor:
- Mr. Andrew Denison, Principal: email@example.com
- Mrs. Fay Turfe, Assistant Principal: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Mr. Kevin Renko, Counselor: email@example.com
We look forward to meeting each 6th grader and their parents in the fall.
