Current 6th and 7th graders will begin making selections for their extended core classes for the 2018-19 school year. This year, students will make their choices by signing into Student Connect and picking from the classes listed. We will no longer be sending home Course Selection sheets with students and asking that they be returned to one of the counselors (Mr. Renko or Mrs. Gass). Students will have the opportunity to select from the following courses: Computer Applications, Tech Ed, Life Skills, Art, Band/Strings, Spanish (8th grade only), etc.
Students will be placed in the following core classes: Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. They will also be assigned a PE elective next year. A student will have a full schedule when six classes have been assigned.
Students will spend time during Advisory class on the following days registering:
- 7th graders (current): Wednesday, March 21, Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23
- 6th graders (current): Tuesday, March 27, Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29
