Dear Bryant Parents and Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you in good health. On March 22nd, we will be hosting Parent/Teacher (P/T) Conferences from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Communication between school and parents is vital in your child’s academic success. In order to ensure we are providing valuable information to address your child’s needs, we would like to share the following information to our families regarding conferences:
- P/T Conferences are open for all parents, however, teachers will not be able to meet with every parent due to time constraints. Some teachers have pre-scheduled conferences and will follow a set schedule. If you would like to meet with a teacher and that teacher is not available, you will be contacted to set up another time to meet.
- Report cards will be available to parents during P/T Conferences and can be picked up at the school by a parent. Report cards that have not been picked up will be sent home with students the following day. Some report cards will be mailed to parents if that student is failing any of their classes.
- Conferences will be scheduled every 10 minutes in an effort for teachers to meet with as many parents/guardians as possible.
- Many teachers will meet with students using a team approach or may use a student-led model. If you would like to meet individually with one of your child’s teachers, you may need to schedule a time other than on the evening of P/T Conferences.
At Bryant, the education of your child is one of the most important goals we share together. We feel your time to meet personally with your son or daughter’s teacher to discuss academics and behaviors is key to ensure a successful end to this year. The number of conferences scheduled necessitates a rather tight scheduling situation. If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment, please contact your son/daughter’s teacher. Lastly, further pertinent information may be sent home directly to you by your child’s teacher to help you prepare for a successful meeting.
We look forward to meeting with parents during Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, March 22nd. Feel free to contact one of us if you need additional information.
Yours In Education,
Mr. Denison, Principal
Mrs. Turfe, Assistant Principal
