Students in Mr. Blake, Ms. Cosenza, Mrs. Griffin, Mrs. Jefferson and Ms. Thomas’s advisories participated in their version of March Madness. Each student had the opportunity to “apply” to the college of their choice by completing a Future Plan. Students that completed the application were then placed on teams and in brackets to complete in the tournament. The winning team from each advisory competed against another advisory. The final game was held on April 16th between the team of Emily Wright (Michigan State) and Evelyn Shobert (Rhode Island School of Design) and Spencer Dickhudt (Michigan State) and Evan Belaire (North Carolina University). At the conclusion of the final game Spencer and Evan were victorious. All the teams demonstrated good sportsmanship and calmness under pressure.
